The Vornado Whole Room Circulator is a multi-directional, whisper-quiet, 3-speed unit. It tilts to direct air in any direction and keeps it moving at a good clip to prevent a stale atmosphere. This moves a good amount of air for such a small fan and is quiet. We needed it to direct the outside air down a hallway into the main room of our house; this was more than enough to accomplish that goal.
